I really don’t want to speak bad about people, but I do find it exasperating when you try and help someone and they do ABSOLUTELY nothing!
A perfect example of this would be the guy who spent around $1,200 to buy a product with resell rights from a company I work with.
The product comes with a website that has the sales letter installed on it, and four products in a bundle.
The whole product comes with resale rights so those who buy it can sell it ‘as is’.
It is my job to install everything for them, their job is to promote and sell the product.
Going back to the guy in question. I built the website for him and recorded a quick video showing him his new website and how to access it.
As part of the video, I told him to come and find me on Facebook and observe the types of content I share.
I told him to look at my marketing friends and study their content too.
He found me and requested me as a friend. I approved his request and we are now connected on Facebook.
I’m beginning to regret the decision of asking him to friend me on Facebook.

It is clear that this guy is a Christian with unwavering faith.
Now, there’s nothing wrong with that particularly.
However, I am not a deeply religious man.
Yes, I was Christened into the Anglican Church (Church of England) by my parents, but I have since moved onto a combination of science (preferring fact to blind faith following stories written by people who had little understanding of the world around them) and Buddhist philosophy because it has peace and empathy at its core.
Him being a Christian isn’t an issue… but what concerns me is the stuff he is posting online.
I don’t know if he is trying to ‘help society’ or what, but I do know that posting stuff like this…
“The Bible says the love of many will grow cold, and lawlessness will abound…”
And
“Some people will have a negative hurtful impact on your life, shake them off in prayer, and come unto Jesus for your healing…”
…is about as useful to society as talking about the state of your underpants.
And it’s certainly doing him no good!
The guy bought a product with the idea of selling it to make money, and has yet not done any form of marketing or selling…
But he has said…
“You never know what God is going to bring up in your life, and you never know what the devil brings up…. Be on your guard…”
I don’t know about you, but as soon as someone starts talking about the ‘Devil’… I glaze over and switch off!
The fact that people to this day still need to blame the dark side of human nature and the bad shit people do as the work of some mythical entity is just bonkers!
As I say… I am not here to talk about religion or bash it…
But this guy is hoping to make money selling a product he bought and instead he chooses to ‘preach’.
Personally, I favour the idea that you actually go and help people instead of preaching.
Nothing says ‘copy what I do’ better than people seeing you actually do it and succeeding!
I’d rather make money and donate it to a charity or go and spend time helping a charity than spend my days telling people on social media to be more charitable.
But what really gets me is the fact that two weeks after I had built his website, he has done nothing more than preach the gospel.
The truth is this… Jesus, God, and the Devil will not affect your life… you and your actions do!
Hence why the Bible says ‘Reap what YOU sow’.
You get what you give.
If you spend your days marketing your products… you will make sales earning you money.
But if you spend your days sharing religious quotes and statements…. you will not make money.
Not unless you are a stage preacher whose business is to talk about prophets for profits.
Again, this is not about bashing religion or religious people, although I can imagine some of them will be offended and think it is…
This is about the ‘inaction’ I am seeing from someone who I can only assume is praying for success.
I can guarantee that unless he starts learning marketing and doing some actual work to promote the product he has bought to sell, he will be beaten ‘hands down’ by someone who is actively marketing the product and not ‘praying’ for sales.
And that person could very easily be an atheist!
I cannot help but think that when he has made no sales after several months of inaction, he will probably blame the Devil somehow.
It won’t be his fault.
Maybe the company who sold it to him will be the Devil ‘tempting’ him and he failed that ‘test’.
I could be wrong, maybe he will personally own the results of his inaction, but experience tells me that he won’t.
I didn’t get to live in Portugal as a writer making my money online by praying, wishing, or sharing scripture on social media, I got it by learning and implementing the things I needed to do.
That is the TRUTH!
Until next time.
Have a great day.
